Michael Haviland serves as In-house counsel for Velocity Venture Partners. Prior to joining the firm in March 2021, Michael practiced at Earp Cohn P.C. During his time there, he represented clients in private real estate investment groups, publicly traded companies, and small business start-ups. While in private practice, Michael handled sophisticated transactional work which included acquisitions & sales of real estate investment properties, ground-up development negotiations & sales, land use and financial counseling.

Jake serves as In-house counsel for Velocity Venture Partners. He has extensive transactional experience in various areas of commercial real estate – including high-value loans/assumptions, purchases/sales, leasing and a variety of other loan- and real property-related matters. Jake is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and California.

Amira joined Velocity in May of 2023. Prior to joining Velocity, she was a title curator processing title reports for distressed properties and coordinating closings. Currently, she provides transactional support to our in-house legal team, assisting with acquisitions, dispositions, and refinances. At her leisure, she enjoys hikes, yoga and reading by the lake.
